AE Class of 2023 Freshman Frolic

Welcome to the Academies @ Englewood... and welcome to Asian Young Life!
Asian Young Life wants to help you experience life the way it was meant to be! That's why we've created the AE Freshman Frolic. We want to give freshmen at the Academies @ Englewood an opportunity to get to know us better by treating AE freshmen to a fun-filled day where they will learn about AYL and also get to build closer ties with the older students and adult leaders in AYL.
We will meet at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 8, at EBCC in Teaneck (
the same place where we have AYL club)
and for Chick-fil-A lunch and a brief "freshman orientation" session. After that, we will board a school bus to and then go bowling at Lodi Lanes in Lodi.
After bowling, there are some options... At approximately 2:45 PM, the bus will go to
Boba Land in Palisades Park to drop off students off who need to leave early. The bus will then continue on to City Sports in Englewood for students who want to play basketball and/or volleyball. We will have use of City Sports until 5:00 PM. We will create teams, and students will get to play with upperclassmen as well as students from Tenafly High School.
For students who do not want to go to Palisades Park or play basketball/volleyball, we will drive them back to EBCC, where they can ask their parents to pick them up at approximately 3:15 PM. Otherwise, most students should be picked up at City Sports on Rt. 4 in Englewood at 5 PM.
REGISTER NOW
To participate, you must first register. Registration will take only 60 seconds. Please note: While the AE Freshman Frolic is open to all freshmen at the Academies @ Englewood, priority will be given to AE freshman who attended our AYL club on Saturday, December 7 or who have attended at least one Harvesters meeting in 2019. Please click the orange button below to register.
