Registration for Saranac consists of TWO steps...
The first step is your parent(s) must complete and submit the required online Health and Consent Form. If you submit the Health and Consent Form by Wednesday, February 28, you will save $50! The instructions for filling out the health form differ depending on whether you are a first time camper at Saranac ("1st Timer") or a repeat camper ("2nd Timer").

To download the instructions for filling out the Health and Consent Form, please click the ORANGE button if you are a freshman or first time camper at Saranac; click the BLUE button below if you are a repeat camper.

If you are a first time camper at Saranac, but you have a brother or sister who has attended Saranac before, we have a special set of instructions for you. Please download these special instructions here.

Before proceeding to Step 2, it is vital that you submit the Health and Consent Form FIRST. Carefully follow the downloaded instructions before proceeding to Step 2.

After submitting the online Health and Consent Form, you must complete an additional registration form, which can be accessed by clicking the button below...

ALL students MUST register online. We will not be accepting paper registrations. You will have an opportunity to pay online after you complete the registration form.

The Best Week of Your Life

The view of Saranac from the waterfront beach.
In August 2017, Asian Young Life took 92 high school students and leaders to Saranac Village, an incredible resort-style camp for teenagers in the Adirondack Mountains of New York State. Simply put, the week was unbelievable.

For those of you who missed out, don't worry... We'll be doing it again in Summer 2018! If you are an Asian American high school student who has attended Asian Young Life during the 2017-18 school year, then you should get a few of your friends and do whatever you have to do to get to this place! You will have the BEST WEEK OF YOUR LIFE. You'll be spending 7 days at one of the most incredible places on the planet!

Imagine a week of parasailing, waterskiing, tubing, wakeboarding, a hot tub, a 100-foot long water slide, basketball, frisbee, ping pong... plus beautiful scenery, great food, good friends, and amazing memories. You’ll also learn about God and His love for humanity. Trust us... this is no ordinary camp experience! Join us!

The price varies based on the school you attend and whether or not you attended Saranac before. For most students, the price is as follows:

$349 for freshmen and for 1st Timers in any grade who submit their health form by February 28.

$449 for all 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Timers who submit their health form by February 28.

Students who attend Tenafly High School are eligible for reduced pricing. Please talk to your AYL leader for details.

Please note there is a $10 discount if you pay with a credit or debit card!

These fees cover everything: 7 days of meals and all activities, 6 nights of lodging, and roundtrip motorcoach bus transportation.

Please note: Spots for this trip are limited to students who attend schools or groups where we have active adult leaders. When registration starts, we will be accepting registration from students in the following schools/groups only:

• Academies @ Englewood (38 spots)
• Tenafly High School (28 spots)
• CCCNJ (14 spots)
• Other Schools (4 spots)

Exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis. If you attend a school where we do not have assigned leaders, help us recruit adult leaders so you and your friends can go to Saranac!

Furthermore, students from these schools/groups must have actively participated in Asian Young Life during the 2017-18 school year.

Be assured that student safety is our top priority and that we want your child to have the best week of his or her life.

Supervision at camp includes local adult teachers/leaders who already know your child and who "go through" camp with their teenage guests, overseeing and experiencing the same activities that the students do. Furthermore, there is a property staff of over 40 additional adult workers, including a camp physician and an EMT, who live on the camp premises. The overall ratio of adult supervision to teenagers is about 1:7. In addition, male and female housing is clearly defined, separated, and chaperoned. As a Christian organization, we also help teenagers learn about God, but we do so in a way that protects every child's right and ability to make his or her own decision regarding faith issues.

For additional information, please visit the official Saranac Village website, where you can learn about the camp, the facilities, and the incredible surroundings.
